"Myself, husband and teenage daughter have just had a 3 hour pottery session with Angelique. What a fantastic experience!!

We were all complete beginners - never even touched clay before. Angelique made us feel very welcome and accommodated everything that we requested. She was a very patient, encouraging and enthusiastic teacher.

My husband and daughter spent the 3 hours on the wheel and they produced 4 items each.

Saturday Group Workshops

 In Sculpture and Hand Building

  17th February & 9th March... £125 including lunch


Come and get creative and surprise yourself on a 6 hour course in sculpting and slab building. Saturday from 9.30 to 4.30pm. There is a 1 hour lunch break with optional pastries/ sandwiches provided.


This course will be covering all the basic techniques needed to start you on your journey of hand building in Clay.


In a relaxed and friendly environment with no pressure or expectations its amazing what you can achieve!


Due to the small class sizes ( maximum 8 people ) there is plenty of one to one time, which means you can also join if you have mastered the basics in sculpting and slab work but want to learn more advanced techniques.


The course covers :

Animal and free form Sculpture 

Slab built vessels and tiles (organic and geometric forms)

Glazing and staining techniques 

Structure support techniques 

Texture and form 

You will also receive a certificate at the end of the course detailing everything you have learned
