6 hour Sculpting and Slab Building Course

Come and get creative and surprise yourself on a 6 hour course in sculpting and slab building. Saturday from 9.30 to 4.30pm. There is a 1 hour lunch break with optional pastries/ sandwiches provided.

This course will be covering all the basic techniques needed to start you on your journey of hand building in Clay.

In a relaxed and friendly environment with no pressure or expectations its amazing what you can achieve!

Due to the small class sizes ( maximum 8 people ) there is plenty of one to one time, which means you can also join if you have mastered the basics in sculpting and slab work but want to learn more advanced techniques.

The course covers :

Animal and free form Sculpture 

Slab built vessels and tiles (organic and geometric forms)

Glazing and staining techniques 

Structure support techniques 

Texture and form 

You will also receive a certificate at the end of the course detailing everything you have learned

Full use of all the equipment in the studio
